It seems like the Fux Dalmation Print Cruella Deville once advocated for is back and all over Pinterest (animal cruelty free of course); from the chic printed wallpaper to the stunning mug this print is taking over the Interior world. So, I decided I’d get on board and embrace this trending print. Of course I always opt for the most affordable option and therefore I called for an Interior Décor Inspo DIY Project.

I achieved this look with the following
Canvas Cushion pillow case from H&M Home
Cushion pillow from H&M Home
Black fabric Paint from Spotlight (Derivan Fabric Art Paint)
A paint brush from Spotlight (Princeton Mixed Media Size 4 Stencil)
~$25 all up
Now for the magic…this is basically what I did
Line the inside of the pillow case with plastic bags (to stop the paint from seeping through)
Dipped the paint brush in the paint and started lightly dotting and pressing the paint brush, i made sure that I wasn’t focusing on achieving perfect circles as I’m not doing a polka dot pillow case and want it to look completely natural
I didn’t focus on keeping any measurements I just made sure the pillow case was completely covered in dots
For the small blank spaces that seemed a little awkward I dipped the top of the paint brush (turn it upside down) and began adding smaller dots amongst the larger dots to create a point of difference
Hung the pillow on the washing line under the sun for a few hours
Next day…PERFECTION
